How do I know whether to repair or replace my water heater?
Age and symptoms are the biggest factors. Most tank heaters last about 8 to 12 years; rusty water, leaks around the base, rumbling or popping noises, and inconsistent hot water often point toward replacement. Our technician assesses yours and explains your options before any work begins.
Is a tankless water heater worth it?
It can be. Tankless units heat water on demand, so they save space, can lower energy use, and typically last longer than tank models — but they cost more upfront and may need gas or electrical upgrades. If you often run out of hot water or want long-term efficiency, tankless is worth considering, and we'll help you weigh whether it fits your home and budget.
How long do water heaters last, and how often should they be flushed?
Most tank water heaters last about 8 to 12 years, and tankless units often longer. Flushing the tank about once a year clears out sediment, improves efficiency, and helps it last — we offer maintenance and flushing as part of our water heater service.

Do you charge a diagnostic or service-call fee?
We charge a diagnostic fee to come out and pinpoint the problem. If you then hire us to do the repair, that fee is applied to the cost of the work — so when we do the job, you effectively don't pay a separate diagnostic charge. Your technician explains all costs upfront, before any work begins.
